Profile
Fukasawa Eri
Born in Shizuoka, Fukasawa Eri is a scenographer. She studied under scenographers Takada Ichiro and Kotake Nobutaka at Musashino Art University. In 2000, she joined Ku Na’uka theatre company, where she developed her skills in directing and stage design. She began working with SPAC in 2006. At SPAC, she has designed the scenography for several productions including “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “The White Fox” (both directed by Miyagi Satoshi), “The Dancing Girl of Izu” (directed by Tada Junnosuke), and “Hamlet” (directed by Ueda Kumiko). For “A Close and Far Place”, a production by SPAC’s inclusive theatre project, she was responsible for the conception, direction, and scenography.
In recent years, she has expanded the scope of her activities. In 2024, she opened “Kūsō to Kioku (Imagination and Memories)”, an atelier in Shizuoka City, where children can explore and enjoy art. In February 2026, she designed the props for the opera “The Great Wave”, which premiered in Scotland.

　
Nukata Masashi
Composer, director, and playwright. Born in Tokyo in 1992, he has led the contemporary pop band Tokyo Shio-Koji since 2013. The band has performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and was nominated for Taiwan’s indie music award, the Golden Indie Melody Awards, among other activities in Japan and abroad. He has also composed music for dance and theatre works by artists and groups including Iwabuchi Teita, Q / Ichihara Satoko, and Compsons. As a director and musician, he has collaborated extensively with artists from various countries and regions, including the Philippines, Indonesia, and South Korea.
As a theatre maker, he leads the theatre company Nuthmique. He has received numerous awards, including the Excellence in Direction Award at the 33rd Yomiuri Theatre Awards.

Profile
Setoyama Misaki

Setoyama Misaki was born in 1977 in Tokyo. She is a playwright and theatre director who founded her Minamoza theatre company in 2001. Since March 2022 she has been President of the Japan Playwrights Association. Besides her theatre activity, she writes scripts for radio dramas and movies such as 2016’s “Azumi Haruko wa Yukuefumei” (“Japanese Girls Never Die”) and 2018’s “River’s Edge”. She also conducts theatre workshops and is involved in the creation of community theatre. Setoyama’s “Karera no Teki” (“Their Enemy”) was named Best Play in the 23rd Yomiuri Theater Awards in 2016. Then in 2020 she won the Best Director prize in the 27th Yomiuri Theater Awards and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize for Newcomers with “The Nether.” In addition, she directed the musical “Slumdog Millionaire” in 2023, and “Ushoku” (“Tooth Decay”), a new original play by Yokoyama Takuya, in February 2024.

Profile
Tada Junnosuke

Tada Junnosuke is a theatrical director born in 1976. He presides over Tokyo Deathlock, and is engaged in works of various genres, including classical drama, modern plays, dance, and performance art. Along with such creative activities, he also holds important positions such as artistic director for public theaters, art director for municipalities, and festival director. In 2013, he became the first foreign-national winner of the 50th Dong-A Theater Award in Korea with “Karumeghi,” a jointly produced work by Japan and South Korea, He currently serves as a joint director for the Tokyo Festival, and is also a part-time lecturer for Shikoku Gakuin University and Joshibi University of Art and Design. For SPAC, he directed “Spinning Gears” (written by Akutagawa Ryunosuke) in 2018 and “Galileo” (Original Work by Bertolt Brecht) in 2026./span>
