Profile
Fukasawa Eri
Born in Shizuoka, Fukasawa Eri is a scenographer. She studied under scenographers Takada Ichiro and Kotake Nobutaka at Musashino Art University. In 2000, she joined Ku Na’uka theatre company, where she developed her skills in directing and stage design. She began working with SPAC in 2006. At SPAC, she has designed the scenography for several productions including “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “The White Fox” (both directed by Miyagi Satoshi), “The Dancing Girl of Izu” (directed by Tada Junnosuke), and “Hamlet” (directed by Ueda Kumiko). For “A Close and Far Place”, a production by SPAC’s inclusive theatre project, she was responsible for the conception, direction, and scenography.
In recent years, she has expanded the scope of her activities. In 2024, she opened “Kūsō to Kioku (Imagination and Memories)”, an atelier in Shizuoka City, where children can explore and enjoy art. In February 2026, she designed the props for the opera “The Great Wave”, which premiered in Scotland.

 
Nukata Masashi
Composer, director, and playwright. Born in Tokyo in 1992, he has led the contemporary pop band Tokyo Shio-Koji since 2013. The band has performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and was nominated for Taiwan’s indie music award, the Golden Indie Melody Awards, among other activities in Japan and abroad. He has also composed music for dance and theatre works by artists and groups including Iwabuchi Teita, Q / Ichihara Satoko, and Compsons. As a director and musician, he has collaborated extensively with artists from various countries and regions, including the Philippines, Indonesia, and South Korea.
As a theatre maker, he leads the theatre company Nuthmique. He has received numerous awards, including the Excellence in Direction Award at the 33rd Yomiuri Theatre Awards.
